What is a "broken pipe" error?

Some customers report receiving a 'Broken Pipe Error' when uploading a large amount of content through our website.

This error generally means means that the data stopped flowing to us and we were unable to start the transfer again.

Often times this is caused by a wireless internet connection with fluctuating signal strength, a firewall or other security software.

You might want to try uploading over a wired internet connection or temporarily turning the firewall off on your local computer to allow the upload. Check with your system administrator on how to proceed.
